This page contains photographs that I took on my travels throughout the world. I felt like they didn't belong to my travel pages and I tried to group them in categories. The top are sculptures from Florence, Italy. The first three are from the Galleria dell' Accademia, next three are at the Piazza della Signoria and the last picture is from the Uffizi.
The next group is from the Pearl Harbor Memorial. I visited the memorial two days after the 50th anniversary of the bombing. It was a memorable part of the trip. Survivors from the bombing were pointing out were they were when it the bombing took place and talked about the events that took place during that day. A very sobering experience that I'm glad I didn't miss. The last picture on the right shows oil still seeping out of the ship.
A few shots of beaches in Oahu, last shot is the world famous Waikki beach.
This group is from a whale watching expedition off of Cape Cod, took a boat from Provinceton out into the Boston Bay. Had many pictures but most didn't turn out well, this is all I could salvage from the prints.
These are scenes from Yosemite National Park, California 1993.
Hawaii, Sierra Nevadas, Rhododendrons, and a clover flower near Lake Keuka, NY.
Here is my cat Tiger doing what he does best. (When he's not looking for things with fur or feathers.)
Here are a few from my European Vacation, the first is a garden in Lucca, Italy. The second is of feeding pigeons on San Marco, Venice, Italy. The Third is the Tempio di San Biagio on the outskirts of Montepulciano, Italy. The fourth is of Laura and Ryan on their honeymoon in Venice. They are from South Africa, hopefully someone will notice them so I can send them the pictures of the Gondola ride that they took with us. The last was a unique piece of art displaying in a shop window in Colle, Italy entitled the 'Showy Woman".
My next trip will be to Italy, doing a 3 week tour of Rome, Cinque Terre, Venice, Florence, Chianti in Radda and back to Rome. I hope to get the pictures of the places that I missed.
