I was the music buff in our house growing up, my parents and friends thought I would get a job in the music industry, mainly as a DJ, the closest I ever got was working in a music store during college.  It was a fun job, attempting to identify songs that customers would attempt to sing and knowing what album/CD they would be on. I could get most of them right, but after college I stopped listening to popular music.  I  don't know many of the top forty artist or songs of the 90's.

These are the recordings that I listen to the most.  My music taste varies from classic to alternative rock to folk and is constantly evolving, but if I had to choose a dozen of my favorite recordings out of my collection, these 10 recordings would be the ones that I select
